Report a problem

Tell us what went wrong.

Fill in what you can. The list on the right shows what is still missing, and what is missing depends on the kind of problem. Everything is put together here, in your browser: nothing leaves your computer until you press a send button, and your model never does unless you add it yourself.

03Your setup

The quickest way: in MeshOptimiser press Ctrl , to open Settings, choose About, press Copy details, and paste below. The boxes under it fill in by themselves.

Use it on the computer where the problem happens. It only fills boxes that are empty.

04Logs and messages

Paste text into the box, or drop a .txt or .log file below it. Keep long logs whole: the plain-text send cuts them short, the .zip keeps every word.

When a STEP conversion fails, its progress card has a Copy log button.

    A problem with a file is easiest to fix with the file. It is yours: it is only added if you add it here, and the Send button never carries it. Only the .zip does.

    Only used to answer this report. Without it there is no way to ask a question, so a report that needs one may wait.
