AccountingBox

AccountingBox needed to explain software features without showing screens that would be out of date in a year. We gave the product a body instead: a blue cube. Everything the software does is something the cube does.

It sorts a grid of scattered shapes into order. It pulls a storm of loose paper into itself. It grows out of a pot, block by block, like a plant. It sits on the sofa as a cushion and on the wall as a picture. Each animation is one idea, a few seconds long, and loops cleanly.

The system is strict so the loops feel like one family: a periwinkle world, the brand blue for the cube, and small accents of coral, green and yellow. Soft, even light, rounded furniture, and the same easing on every move. We built a handful of room sets, a living room, a home office, a larger office, so the cube always turns up somewhere familiar.
